The Harmony Community

There are many organizations and businesses that help make the Harmony community "The Biggest Little Town in Southern Minnesota". Not too many small towns have everything you need so close, but Harmony does. With a grocery store, a convenient store, a bank and other financial services, a hardware store, a pharmacy, a post office, a flower shop, Gunderson Lutheran medical clinic, ambulance and fire services, restaurants, and even a roller rink and movie theatre, residents can enjoy all the conveniences without having to travel out of town.

Harmony is also a great place to visit with tours, shopping and recreational opportunities in this small but active town in Southeastern Minnesota. Visitors can relax with a tour through the Amish settlement or take a stroll through the unique gift and antique shops. Discover the hidden underground treasures of Niagara Cave; voted one of the nation's top ten caves. Experience scenic beauty with a bike ride on the Harmony-Preston Valley Trail completing 65 miles of paved trails. Tour the nation's largest woodcarving museum at Slim's Woodshed. Visit Austin's Angora goat farm, a historical and geological interpretive center, and a life-sized wood carved Hobo Camp. Visitors also enjoy comfortable lodging and great food during their stay.
